Steven Reed, retired . Avid birder and naturalist. Master degree in Environmental education.

Steve is an active volunteer for the Stanton Bird Club as a tour leader as well as a land steward on their Thorncrag and Woodbury properties.He leads walk for everyone from school children to scientists visiting the Gordon Institute at Bates College 
In 1999 Steve did a North American BIG YEAR birding. He cossed the US to Oregon and worked his way down and across to Texas . Before wearing out his vehicle and putting a giant dent in his wallet, he was able to list 512 of our 700 plus species over 8 months. 
 
Douglas Boyd, retired  Avid birder and traveller. BSc. in agriculture with a major in wildlife biology.
Doug is a co-leader with Steve and Judy Marden for the Stanton Bird Club walks from Bates College in April and May during the spring bird migration.
Doug feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to bird in several European countries, Iceland, Africa, Central and South America , the Caribbean as well as many parts of the USA and Canada.
