Chase Harr
ShelterBox, an organization that specializes in international disaster relief

Chase is a ShelterBox volunteer who is planning to scale all 67 New England 4,000-foot peaks to raise awareness and funds to support ShelterBox, an organization that specializes in international disaster relief. Chase's fundraising event is titled The Second Summits Project.

Since 2000, ShelterBox has provided 2 million people with shelter, warmth, and dignity following more than 300 disasters in over 100 countries. ShelterBox responds urgently to earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, hurricanes, cyclones, tsunamis, or conflict by delivering boxes of essential shelter, aid, and other lifesaving supplies. The organization was nominated in 2018 and 2019 for the Nobel Peace Prize in acknowledgement of its work in some of the world’s most extreme conflict zones. The generous support of Rotary makes their work possible.  In 2012, ShelterBox became Rotary International's first and only Project Partner in disaster relief. That partnership remains in place today.  During Chase's presentation, you will hear the importance of this partnership.
